12/7/2006 11:55:22 AM

Hong Kong-based CSAV Norasia will, in late December, start an India/Middle East/Europe (IMEX) service using six of the vessels from its ending westbound round-the-world service.

The IMEX’s six ships are about 2,800 TEUs and have speed of 21 knots calling Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Port Said, and back to Rotterdam.

The scheduled transit time from Nhava Sheva to Rotterdam will be 17 days while Felixstowe to Jebel Ali will take 15 days.

CSAV Norasia said it will transship cargo to the East Mediterranean and the Black Sea via Egypt's Port Said.
