Evergreen, X-Press to Launch Central America Service

Evergreen Line plans to launch a new joint service with X-Press Feeders connecting ports on the west coast of Central America, with a first sailing scheduled on Dec. 19, 2012.

 

The carriers will deploy two vessels with capacities of approximately 900 20-foot-equivalent units on the service, Evergreen said. It will contribute the 966-TEU Georgia, and X-Press will provide a ship of similar size.

 

The port rotation for the service will be Manzanillo, Mexico; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Acajutla, El Salvador; San Lorenzo, Honduras; Corinto, Nicaragua; Caldera, Costa Rica; Manzanillo.
