IAG Cargo to expand into Sri Lanka

4/5/2013 10:59:59 AM

IAG Cargo will offer full-range cargo services on its new passenger flights out of Colombo, Sri Lanka beginning April 15.

The new route, which includes a stopover in the Maldives, will be operated three times a week with a Boeing 777.

IAG is returning to Sri Lanka after a 15-year absence and hopes that by opening trade routes to the world, it can better support business in the region.

The new flights will build on IAG Cargo’s existing cargo operations in Sri Lanka.
