United Airlines wins Beijing flight rights

United Airlines has won U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) approval for new non-stop flights between Washington and Beijing. Other carriers vying for the route included American, Continental and Northwest Airlines. United is expected to begin services - using a three-class 347-seat B747-400 - within 90 days.   Aircargo Asia Pacific
