Effective January 6, 2007, Cargolux will begin a new weekly roundtrip 747 freighter service between Luxembourg and New York via Gothenburg.
CV 8606 will depart Luxembourg on Saturdays at 14h00, arriving in Gothenburg at 16h00 and depart two hours later to arrive in New York at 20h30 local time the same day.
From New York, CV 8617 departs at 23h00, arriving on Sunday in Gothenburg at 12h20 and in Luxembourg at 16h50 local time, connecting the Scandinavian and JFK markets to Cargolux flights leaving the same day for destinations such as Taipei, Bangkok, Shanghai, Johannesburg and, again, New York.
Next day connections can be made to Chicago, Mexico, Doha, Dammam, Seattle, Beijing, Dubai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Abidjan and Accra.
Cargolux also operates trucking services between Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Malmo, Oslo, Helsinki, Billund and Stockholm-Arlanda.
From New York’s JFK Airport, Cargolux also operates two flights to Mexico City on Sundays and one on Wednesdays.
