HONG KONG's Dragonair has resumed daily service to Phuket in Thailand using A320 aircraft.
Dragonair said in a statement it suspended flights to the tropical island in January 2005 after demand dropped dramatically following the Asian tsunami one month earlier.
Dragonair's partner, Cathay Pacific, will codeshare on the service and will also promote it throughout its worldwide network.
Flight KA212 to Phuket departs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Hong Kong International Airport at 14:45 hrs and arrives at 17:25 hrs in Thailand. Return flight, KA213 takes off from Phuket at 18:10 hrs and lands in Hong Kong at 22:50 hrs.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, flight KA212 departs from Hong Kong at 08:50 hrs and arrives in Phuket at 11:30 hrs. On the return leg, flight KA213 takes off from Phuket at 12:20 hrs and touches down in Hong Kong at 17:10 hrs.
