OOCL Announces Ship Change in Gulf Mexico Service

4/24/2013 9:58:37 AM

OOCL has announced that the container ship Norfolk Express in its Gulf Mexico Service, GMX, will be replaced on its current voyage by another vessel, Irenes Rainbow, effective immediately.

The container carrier has arranged for all westbound cargo previously loaded onboard the Norfolk Express 033W in Thamesport, England; Antwerp, Belgium; and Bremerhaven, Germany, to be transferred to Irenes Rainbow for on-carriage to destination ports. The Norfolk Express ran aground and was refloated in the North Sea on April 18, according to Maritime Bulletin.
