Direct Zurich-Philadelphia flight in summer

Zurich (CH)’s connection to North America will be enhanced in summer when US Airways commences direct flights to its hub in Philadelphia PA (USA).   The US carrier will offer daily B 767 flights in summer and four per week in winter. The new route is part of US Airways’ ambitious expansion plans. Besides Zurich, the airline is to include Brussels (BE) and Athens (GR) in its schedule, bringing the number of European destinations up to 19. At the same time, the airline is attempting to take over competitor Delta.  Source:  International Transport Journal
