6/22/2013 9:43:13 AM

Ethiopian Airlines of Ethiopia has launched services to South Korea and bi-weekly cargo flights to Juba in South Sudan.

It also is building a cargo storage facility for both dry and perishable goods worth US$200 million.

Ethiopian currently owns two B777ER cargo planes plus two MD11 freighters. Tewolde Gebremariam, the ceo of Ethiopian Airlines, said the airline also has ordered four more B777 cargo planes and is finalising plans to build one of the world's largest cargo terminals, with an annual storage capacity of 1.2 million tonnes.
