HONG KONG's Cathay Pacific Airways has entered into a code-share with Novosibirsk's S7 Airlines (formerly Siberian Airlines), thus adding to its network St Petersburg, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.
Since 2010, Cathay has had three weekly flights to Moscow and will now place its CX code on S7's daily Moscow-St Petersburg service and on S7's Hong Kong-Vladivostok flights as well as to Khabarovsk, 30 kilometres north of Heilongjiang province's Russian border.
Part of the deal includes having S7 Airlines add its S7 code to Cathay Hong Kong-Moscow flights as well as on Cathay Hong Kong to Bangkok and Singapore flights. The deal also includes a code share on Dragonair's Hong Kong-Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand.
