AUSTRIA's cargo-partner has opened a new office in Ho Chi Minh City after setting up branches in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
"Many from electrical, garment and shoe manufacturing industries are based in Vietnam, so it was logical step to open in the region to provide skilled advice and prompt service," said regional director Stefan van der Sluys.
The move into Vietnam guarantees cargo-partner increased exports from the region, said the press release from the company, based in Fischamend, just west of Vienna.
"Ranking 13th in the world for population and boasting continuous growth, Vietnam is also one of states of ASEAN, a trading bloc of more than 600 million inhabitants," said the release.
cargo-partner's new office is located on the main traffic arteries between the airport and industrial centres of town. As well as forwarding air and sea freight, cargo-partner also offers warehousing and customs clearance.
