GLOBE Express Services (GES), an international third party logistics service provider, has expanded its Asia network through the opening of four corporate offices in South India, with two more in Chennai and Bangalore to follow later this year.
The new offices are located in Tuticorin, Cochin, Tirupur and Coimbatore. They join long-established GES-Mumbai to form a solid infrastructure in this rapidly developing manufacturing region that has a thriving apparel and textile market.
"There has been wide speculation that India will grow to become the next China," said Ziad Korban, Globe's CEO and chairman. "By creating a strong foundation today, GES will be well-positioned to participate in the country's promising future."
Globe now operates 27 locations worldwide, including Hong Kong, Taipei, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Xiamen, Tianjin, Qingdao, Ningbo, Dalian in China, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Turkey, Lebanon, the United States and Canada.
