The service will commence from Shanghai on June 25 with the following port rotation: Shanghai; Ningbo and Shekou, China; Hong Kong; Singapore; Port Klang, Malaysia (northbound); Port Klang (westbound); Karachi, Pakistan; Mundra, India; Port Klang (northbound); Singapore; Hong Kong; and back to Shanghai.
According to a recent report by Drewry Maritime Research, cheaper ship charter rates and growth in cargo volumes are bringing gains to the bottom lines of ocean carriers operating in intra-Asia services.
