ANL has confirmed its participation in CMA CGM’s NEMO service, which began loading in Europe this week.
The fixed day fortnightly service (weekly from May) will deploy thirteen dedicated vessels to offer a 91-day rotation between North Europe and the Mediterranean to Australia and New Zealand, direct to Jakarta, Port Kelang, Chennai, Colombo and Jeddah, before returning to the Mediterranean and North Europe via the Suez Canal.
ANL managing director & CEO John Lines commented that move is in response to customer demand for direct calls from New Zealand/Australia into Jakarta, Chennai and Colombo.
“We can now also offer direct services from Jakarta, Port Kelang, Chennai and Colombo directly into the Mediterranean and North Europe,” said Lines, adding that the carrier expects strong support on these premium sectors as well.
ANL’s AEU-1 service rotation will be Tilbury > Hamburg > Rotterdam > Le Havre > Fos > La Spezia > Damietta > Suez Canal > Djibouti > Melbourne > Sydney > Brisbane > Auckland > Lyttelton > Melbourne > Adelaide > Jakarta > Port Kelang > Chennai > Colombo > Djibouti > Jeddah > Suez Canal > Damietta > Malta > La Spezia > Tilbury.
