THE mainland's first private airline, Okay Airways, will inaugurate a new cargo service to Beijing at the end of March, Xinhua reported.
According to the report, express transportation giant FedEx has decided to cooperate with Okay Airways on its domestic express services. Okay Airways, which is currently using Tianjin as its operation base, is planning to use Hangzhou as its cargo hub in the future.
A second mainland private air carrier Spring Airline, which operates out of Shanghai, is now planning to set up a new base in Hainan, using new aircraft on services from that island province.
