LUFTHANSA Cargo is raising its freighter service frequencies to Dallas, Sao Paulo and Shanghai in its summer schedule, which runs from March 25 to October 27.
Frequencies to Shanghai will be raised from eight to nine weekly, with the addition to the timetable of services on Fridays. Changes are also forthcoming in traffic days to Los Angeles, which will be served twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the summer flight schedule.
Parent company, Deutsche Lufthansa is also adding bellyhold capacity for air cargo to some of its passenger services, which will come on stream once Lufthansa starts passenger flights to Busan in South Korea and adds extra frequencies to Caracas, Denver and Shanghai.
Lufthansa Cargo is raising frequencies to Dallas from two to three weekly. The additional service is on Wednesdays. Sao Paulo will be served by six flights weekly from Frankfurt.
New destinations in the summer flight timetable are Lahore in Pakistan and a direct connection from Cologne through East Midlands in the UK to Wilmington in the US.
Lufthansa Cargo's scheduled flights in summer to and from Lahore will be laid on ex Frankfurt, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in combination with Bangkok. The Cologne-East Midlands-Wilmington service will be operated within the framework of the existing intercontinental joint venture with DHL.
