SOUTH KOREA's Asiana Airlines has signed up for the services of Cargo Community Network (CCN), the Asia-Pacific provider of internet portal services to the airfreight industry.
A company statement said CCN currently connected to 27 major international and regional airlines. Besides its flagship product, CCNhub, the company has developed a range of products to enable players in the airfreight industry to improve results through greater efficiency.
Asiana Airlines operates a fleet of over 52 passenger and seven cargo aircraft on a network out of Seoul that extends to 73 destinations in 17 countries.
The airline will utilise CCN's range of services to comply with C2K Common Data Management Platform (CDMP) and to facilitate better communications electronically with their agents as well as customs authorities in countries that require advanced manifest reporting, the statement said.
"We place high priority on understanding each customer's needs. As part of our effort to achieve this goal, we are glad to work with CCN to deliver higher level of services," said Asiana Airlines general manager Kun Hoo Park.
