Lufthansa Cargo group launches Shenzhen-Frankfurt service

Lufthansa Cargo has launched a thrice-weekly non-stop service between Shenzehn (China) and Frankfurt (Germany). A B747-400ER freighter of its subsidiary Jade Cargo International is deployed.   Casten Spohr, chairman of the board at Lufthansa Cargo, said that Jade Cargo International’s new service is a perfect match for Lufthansa Cargo's network. “This enables us to offer customers even shorter transit times, excellent quality, competitive prices and favourable departure times for the connection to southeast China’s prosperous Pearl River region,” he declared.   Source:  International Transport Journal
