Zim forms new transpacific service

Zim said it is splitting up its Asia/Mediterranean/Pacific (AMP) pendulum service and will form a new transpacific APX system using five ships.   The port rotation for the APX service will be: Shekou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Pusan, Vancouver and Shekou   First eastbound sailing from Shekou will be on Nov. 4 by Zim Kingston returning westbound first sailing from Vancouver Nov. 22. The five vessels deployed in the service average 3,594 TEUs in capacity.   American Shipper
