Malaysia’s Malaysia Airlines Cargo is said to be offering discounted cargo rates ex-Australia due to low load factors.
Inbound demand remains strong, the carrier said, with many goods from China and Europe flown via Kuala Lumpur, which serves as a trans-shipment hub.
The cargo arm’s general manager for business development and sales Mohd Yunus Idris said companies seeking to import goods from Australia on a regular basis now could negotiate more competitive airfreight rates.
