CMA CGM said it is canceling one of its all-water services between Asia and the U.S. East Coast, extending two more through April and then replacing all three services with a new vessel-sharing agreement with Maersk Line.
The French carrier said it is canceling the ESX/SAX service that it operates in partnership with the New World Alliance as of the end of March. The current port rotation of that service is Ningbo, Shanghai, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Balboa, Manzanillo, Jacksonville, Savannah, New York, Norfolk, Balboa, Ningbo.
CMA CGM said it will continue to operate its PEX1 and Suez Express services to the U.S. East Coast through the end of April and May respectively.

Suez Express calls at: Port Kelang, Singapore, Colombo, New York, Charleston, Savannah, Norfolk, Jebel Ali, Port Kelang.
Then starting from May, the carrier said it will launch the Hudson and Columbus services in partnership with Maersk, which will replace the PEX1, SAX and Suez Express loops.
Both of these new services will be operated with ships of 6,500 TEU capacity via the Suez Canal; and of 5,100-TEU capacity on the route through the Panama Canal.
The rotation of the two new loops will be as follows:
Columbus Loop: –Yokohama, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore, Suez, New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Good Hope, Singapore, Hong Kong, Yantian, Shanghai, Pusan, Seattle, Vancouver, Yokohama
