Maersk introduces direct shipping to Nigeria

Global leading container carrier, Maersk Line, has introduced direct shipping services into Nigeria's ports even as many other major shipping lines have scaled down their product offering in Nigeria due to the global economic downturn, All Africa reported.

 

Maersk Line's new, fast and direct service into Apapa is from Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha and Hong Kong straight to Benin, Togo and Nigeria.

 

The new weekly direct sailings by Maersk Line vessels into Nigeria which commences from June 2009 offers fast transit times and competitive prices.
