CMA CGM Raises Rates from North Europe

The CMA CGM Group will restore freight rates in the North Europe to Asia and the Middle East or Red Sea trades, effective Oct. 1.

 

Increases will apply to all cargo moving eastbound from North Europe to Asia, Middle East and Red Sea.

 

For general cargo (dry and reefer) the rate will go up $150 per 20-foot equivalent unit. For waste paper, the increase is $100 per 40-foot equivalent unit. For all other cargo, the rate will increase $100 per TEU.
