The first container terminal in Romania was inaugurated in Curtici earlier in the week, with a total investment of around US$16 million, Rompres reported.
The container terminal Railport Arad, located close to the Curtici-Arad Free Area, was realised by the association of three companies: Trade Trans Log SRL in Romania, MAV Kombiterminal in Hungary and Koper Port in Slovenia.
There will be two functioning terminals in Curtici, one for containers, the other for international merchandise.
