American Airlines Cargo has started a service to northern Europe with the launch of direct service between Helsinki and Chicago.
The route is the latest expansion of AA Cargo’s global network, following the announcement of new flights to Shanghai, Budapest, Dublin and Haneda earlier this year.
The non-stop Boeing 767-300 service departs from Chicago daily with a morning arrival in Helsinki, and will offer the carrier’s Expedite and ExpediteTC services. Pharmaceuticals and electronics are expected to be key commodities between the two countries.
American has appointed North Air Logistics as its general sales agent for Finland.
