CSAV joins CMA's Med-West Africa loop

The liner shipping company CSAV has joined CMA CGM’s WAX 3 service which covers the Mediterranean to West Africa. CSAV will begin operating on this service, which it calls New Discovery 3, with the Jan. 17 sailing of Celina Star from Valencia. WAX 3/New Discovery 3 operates with five vessels averaging 3,414 TEUs. Each carrier will operate two vessels with a fifth vessel yet to be confirmed. The port rotation is Valencia, Malta, Tangiers, Dakar, Apapa, Lome, Abidjan, Dakar, and Valencia. WAX 3/New Discovery 3 is currently CSAV’s only service between the Mediterranean and West Africa.  American Shipper
