The liner carrier NYK Line is now taking slots on Emirates Shipping Line’s Hyper Galex service between China and India.
The service has a rotation of Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Dachan Bay, Singapore, Port Kelang, Nhava Sheva, Pipavav, Karachi, Singapore, and Qingdao, the Japanese line said. According to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data, the service is currently operated with six Emirates vessels with an average capacity of 3,244 TEUs.
OOCL dropped out as a slot buyer on the service in Decemeber, while Emirates also skipped two sailings over the winter holidays.
NYK participates in seven other services that currently link China with the Indian Subcontinent, including three that call directly at ports in India and Pakistan and four that call at the regional transshipment port in Colombo.
