MSC says some Europe-Asia service ships fully booked

Mediterranean Shipping Company says ships on four services out of North Europe to Asia are fully booked with export cargo.   MSC said booking acceptance "for cargoes ex NWC and Scandinavia to Far East and Middle East on Silk, Lion, Swan and Condor Services are closed as all vessels are fully booked on weeks 25, 26 and 27." Week 27 ends July 8. "Bookings acceptance is therefore only active for cargo departing as from week 28. At same time it is remarked that availability of inventory is getting very tight in view of growing request. We are working carefully to make sure that inconveniences are minimized," the liner carrier said. In March, Maersk announced a temporary booking stop from North Europe to Asia.   American Shipper
