OOCL to raise Asia-Europe rates

OOCL has joined a growing group of liner carriers seeking to raise rates on the westbound Asia-Europe trade. The Hong Kong-based line said it will hike rates by $250 per TEU from Sept. 10. The increase is applicable to shipments from the Far East (including Japan), the Indian Subcontinent, and the Middle East to all parts of Europe, including the Mediterranean and Black Sea.   American Shipper
