Russians struggle to handle air cargo slump

Russian cargo carriers reportedly are struggling with the air cargo downturn, with Polet Airlines to stop operating its IL-96-400T freighter aircraft, although it will keep its AN-124s. It has three IL-96-400Ts, but reports say they have not flown for some time. Aeroflot, too, appears to be having trouble, with plans to return three MD11Fs to their lessor or to park them.  Aircargo Asia Pacific
