THE container shipping arm of Singapore's Neptune Orient Lines, APL, has taken delivery of its second of five 14,000-TEU ships to be chartered to Japanese shipping giant MOL line.
The ship, named the MOL Quality, will join the G6 Asia-Europe Loop 4 and is scheduled to depart from Ningbo on June 28.
This latest newbuilding is the fourth of ten 14,000 TEU ships ordered from Hyundai Samho by the NOL Group in June 2011. Half the ships on order are being chartered to MOL, within an arrangement inside the New World Alliance framework, reports Alphaliner.
