The G6 liner carriers said they will skip two sailings on their Asia-Europe Loop 7 service in summer as part of a planned vessel maintenance program.
The sailings to be skipped will be the westbound voyage 004W27 that would have departed Qingdao July 3 and the eastbound voyage 004E32 that would have departed Rotterdam Aug. 5. Port rotation for the service is Qingdao, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Southampton, Singapore, Hong Kong, Yantian, and Qingdao.
Meanwhile, the carriers said they will add a call at Hong Kong on an ad hoc basis to a July sailing of their Loop 4 service. That sailing will have a rotation of Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Le Havre, Southampton, Hamburg, and Rotterdam. The lines said arrival and departure dates for the other ports remain unchanged.
G6 members are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, MOL, NYK Line, and OOCL.
