Mediterranean Shipping Co. has announced plans to expand its services to and from India.
Starting at the end of July, the Geneva-based ocean carrier will launch three new loops linking Nhava Sheva (Jawaharlal Nehru) and Mundra, India’s major container ports, with the Red Sea and Africa.
The port coverage of these weekly loops will be as follows:
- Red Sea Service: Mundra, Karachi, Salalah, Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna and Port Sudan. Nhava Sheva containers will be relayed via Salalah.
- East Africa Service: Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Salalah, Dar es Salaam and Mombasa. The service will also cover Mogadishu via Salalah.
- South Africa Service: Mundra, Port Louis, Durban, Coega and Jebel Ali. Nhava Sheva containers will be covered via Mundra.
