Euroseas adds a container ship to its mostly dry bulk fleet

EUROSEAS, a Greek dry bulk shipping company, has added a 17-year-old mid-sized containership to its fleet, bringing the total number of vessels to 14. According to The Associated Press, the ship was bought for US$24 million and has a capacity of 30,400 tons. The vessel also comes with a charter of $16,500 per day that extends until July 2009.
