India, Saudi Arabia ink deal

1/29/2008 2:36:43 PM

India and Saudi Arabia have signed a bilateral air services agreement that frees all limitations on cargo services and makes India the first country granted access to Medina (or Madina, or officially al Madīnat al Munawwarahin, Saudi Arabia) on a scheduled basis.

Similarly, Saudi Arabia will be the first country in West Asia/Gulf to get the facility of flights to Calicut (also known as Kozhikode) India.

Saudi Arabian airlines also will now be able to fly to Lucknow and Bangalore, India.
