Japanese carrier “K” Line is teaming up with little-known Miami-based Bringer Lines, part of the Bringer Corp., to start a bi-weekly service between the U.S. East Coast and the Amazon region in Brazil from October.
The service will deploy two ships of about 500 TEUs on a rotation of Savannah (Saturday), Port Everglades (Sun-Sun), Manaus (Thursday-Saturday), Vila do Conde (Tuesday-Wednesday), and Savannah (Friday).
The vessel Baghira is scheduled to kick off the service at Savannah on Oct. 17
"This new feeder service will serve the growing import market of Amazon in Brazil connected with “K” Line’s quality global network, particularly from Asia through our Asia/East Coast of United States services," "K" Line said.
