Iceland - the country of glaciers and geysers lures with its breathtaking nature and great hospitality. Now, the island in the North Atlantic moves closer to North Rhine-Westphalia: Icelandair flies to the Icelandic capital Reykjavik two times a week.
Every Thursday and Sunday at 07.20 a.m. an Icelandair Boeing 757 with 183 seats takes off from Düsseldorf and lands after about three hours and 40 minutes at KeflavikInternationalAirport. The arrival there is at 09.00 a.m. local time. Already at 00.50 a.m. local time the airplane leaves the island again heading towards North Rhine-Westphalia, where it is expected to arrive at 06.20 a.m. The connection to Reykjavik is seasonal and is operated until 30 August.
