Shenzhen-based freight airline Jade Cargo International has added Vienna to its European network and will soon boost flight frequency to and from Amsterdam.
In a statement, Jade Cargo said it had reduced capacity in response to the economic crisis but was now “taking advantage of newly arising market opportunities”.
Lufthansa Cargo will continue to market exclusive capacities at the European destinations of Amsterdam, Barcelona and Brescia as well as connecting customers to its extensive flight and trucking network in Europe and China.
The successful partnership with Lufthansa Cargo is being supplemented by Jade Cargo International for the additional flights through new sales cooperation with the Air Logistics Group and Austrian Airlines Cargo.
Jade Cargo is a partnership between Shenzhen Airlines with 51 percent, Lufthansa Cargo with 25 percent and German investment bank DEG - Deutsche Investitions-und Entwicklungsgesellschaft holding 24 percent. The fleet consists of six 747-400ER freighters.
