Cathay Pacific Airways' Hong Kong Dragon Airlines unit says it may boost sales as much as 20 per cent this year.
Ceo James Tong said Dragonair may increase flights to existing destinations such as Guangzhou and add routes in the region.
The carrier usually targets smaller regional cities and ensures new routes complement Cathay flights.
"We have resumed some of the flights cut last year and are considering flying to new cities," Tong said. "The rebound in passenger numbers has
taken us close to 2008 levels."
Dragonair is due to take delivery of two A320s next month.
