Evergreen, Wan Hai, MOL and Seacon launch a new Asia - East Africa service

Evergreen, Wan Hai Lines, MOL and Seacon will launch a weekly joint service on April 24th, serving Asia - East Africa.   Evergreen and WHL have operated liner service between Colombo and East Africa since May 2010. The four shipping lines will launch the new AEF service with a shortened rotation cycle starting from major Southeast Asia transhipment hubs in Singapore and Malaysia to Kenya and Tanzania in East Africa.   The AEF service will deploy six 1,200 - 1,350 TEU ships (two each from Evergreen and WHL and one each from MOL and Seacon) on the following 42-day port rotation: Singapore > Tanjung Pelepas > Port Klang > Mombasa, Kenya > Dar es Salaam, Tanzania > Singapore.   Eyefortransport
