LAN orders five more B767s

5/24/2011 10:02:06 AM

Planemaker Boeing says Chilean airline LAN has ordered another five B767 aircraft on top of the existing order for three of the long-range planes.

LAN, which is in the process of merging with Brazilian carrier TAM, already owns 28 767-300ERs and 11 767-300 cargo planes.

The LAN order brings Boeing's total commercial aircraft orders this year to 127, including 13 B767s.
