Forwarder Panalpina is expanding its scheduled freighter operations through Huntsville, Ala., with a second weekly service connecting the city to Hong Kong.
The additional direct flight service began Wednesday, the company said, expanding Panalpina's between the Southeast U.S. manufacturing center and the No. 1 Asia import and export gateway.
The Huntsville stop will link to Panalpina's Hong Kong to Sao Paulo, Brazil, service route, called Brazilian Wings.
The operation uses a 747-400 freighter on wet lease from Atlas Air.
