Japan’s All Nippon Airways Co. said that its international cargo volume grew for the 10th consecutive month in November on a year-on-year basis, surging 14.2 percent to 51,992 tons.
ANA’s domestic cargo volume also rose for the second month in a row in November on a year-on-year basis, increasing 5.8 percent to 42,624 tons.
Meanwhile, rival Japan Airlines Corp. said that its international cargo volume grew for the 10th successive month in November on a year-on-year basis, increasing 4.1 percent to 21,794 tons.
But JAL’s domestic cargo volume fell for the first time in eight months in November, declining 6.2 percent from a year earlier to 31,020 tons.
ANA and JAL both release monthly cargo, as well as passenger, figures without giving any analysis.
