On the first day of October, 2011, at the Foreign Trade University (Facility 2), MGC Institute of Logistics (MIL), VietnamShipper held a talk show “A Talk with Successful Business Ladies” to celebrate the coming Vietnamese Businessmen Day (October 13) and Vietnamese Women Day (October 20).
Attending the Talk Show were the representatives from VietnamShipper’s Editorial Department, Mill’s Training Board; Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thu Hà from Foreign Trade University – Vice Director of Foreign Trade University (Facility 2), and more than 300 students from FTU. The guests of the Talk Show were Ms. Nguyễn Thị Bạch Mai – Vice President and General Manager from Đồng Nai Port, Ms. Phạm Thị Thúy Vân – Manager of Shipping Lines Relations Division from Saigon New Port Coporation, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Bích - Trade and Marketing General Manager from Maersk Line Vietnam/Cambodia, Ms. Anette Thorup - Carrier Manager, Ocean Freight from Damco Vietnam and Cambodia and Ms. Trần Uyên Phương – Vice Director from Tân Hiệp Phát Group.
Many questions focusing on the road to success as well as life experiences and perspectives of the successful ladies taking part in the talk show were raised by FTU’s exciting students. A lot of hearty advices of professional skills, social skills as well as daily life were shared by those guests and FTU students were able to take them as guidelines for their future path to success.
On this occasion, MIL, Saigon New Port Coporation and Port of Đồng Nai have given valuable scholarships with combined value of more than 50 million vnd, including three full scholarships for the training program “English for Logistics” of MIL to outstanding students from FTU.
