CEVA Begins NY-Hamburg LCL Service

CEVA Logistics said the expansion of its less-than-containerload offerings to include service from Hamburg to New York is the first of many LCL service additions for the year.   “This new service will not only improve transit times from Germany to the U.S., but it will provide considerable improvement in cargo availability to our customers,” said Greg Scott, CEVA’s global LCL director.   The Netherlands-based logistics operator’s new LCL consolidation service is part of its strategy to become a top five ocean forwarder by 2013. CEVA recently launched LCL consolidation services from Busan, South Korea, to Toronto, and from Kaohsiung, China, to Chicago.   The Journal of Commerce Online
