Japanese-based forwarder and logistics provider Agility unveiled its new brand and strategy at an event for its customers and partners in Tokyo last night. Olaf Tauschke, managing director and chief executive officer of Agility Japan hosted the event introducing the new merged company promising a stronger company with a larger network with enhanced customer services.
“We have recently through strategic acquisitions worldwide, combined the strengths of individual logistics companies to provide one single brand, one team and one company. Our aim is to become the leading global provider of integrated supply chain solutions,” said Tauschke.
The company now boasts 20,000 staff and 450 offices in 100 countries worldwide.
Formed in 1967, Agility will mark its 40th anniversary in Japan in 2007.
