Israeli liner carrier Zim said it's restructuring and enhancing services between Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, the East Mediterranean and North Europe this month.
The carrier said the changes include:
- A fine-tuning and improvement to its Asia-Med-Europe (AME) service, which it said "will now focus on serving the growing Asia–East-Med/Black Sea trade, and offer an enhanced network of dedicated, synchronized links by trade." The AME service will now have the rotation of Xiamen, Shanghai, Shenzhen (Da Chan Bay), Port Kelang, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Alexandria, Ashdod, Haifa, Mersin, Haifa, Port Kelang, and Xiamen.
- India Sub-Continent-Europe trade will be served by the INE service with the following rotation of Hamburg, Antwerp, Tilbury, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, and Hamburg.
- Med-North Europe trade will be served by two loops with different rotations. North Europe Service 1 (NE1) will have the rotation of Felixtowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Le Havre, Ashdod, Alexandria, Haifa, Ashdod, Valencia, and Felixtowe, while the North Europe Service 2 (NE2) will include will the rotation of Felixtowe, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Haifa, Limassol, Alexandria, Ashdod, Salerno, and Felixtowe.
