IAG Cargo will provide additional cargo capacity on flights from Hyderabad, India, to London.
The capacity will be generated from an additional weekly passenger flight originating at Hyderabad International Airport, serviced by a Boeing 767 aircraft. The additional flight begins on March 31.
“We have seen an increase in demand for products coming from Hyderabad, particularly to North and South American markets,” said Pravin Singh, area commercial manager of South Asia at IAG Cargo, in a written statement.
In recent years, Hyderabad has become a manufacturing hub for pharmaceutical industry products intended for the global market, the airline added.
