Wan Hai re-starts its own Asia-Mexico-west coast South America loop

TAIWAN's Wan Hai Lines has recommenced a new independent Asia-Mexico-West Coast South America container shipping service, called WSA, after it left the Asia-Mexico-WCSA (WSA2) service jointly operated by Evergreen Line, Cosco and Pacific International Lines (PIL). The port rotation for the new service that connects Taiwan, China and Hong Kong to key ports in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru is: Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Shekou, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo (Mexico), Lazaro Cardenas, Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Callao, Manzanillo (Mexico), and back to Kaohsiung. The maiden voyage set sail from Kaohsiung on July 6. The service is reportedly operated by 1,500 TEU containerships. Asian Shipper News
