OOCL has entered into a vessel-sharing agreement with Zim Integrated Shipping Services on the Israeli carrier’s independent East Mediterranean Express (EMX) Service, effective this month.
The Hong Kong-based container carrier is providing two vessels on the string of 10 ships, each with a capacity of around 4,250 20-foot-equivalent units.
The port coverage under the new agreement remains the same as the existing schedule offered by Zim.
The 68-day round-trip port rotation is as follows: Busan, South Korea; Ningbo, Shanghai and Dan Chan Bay, China; Port Kelang, Malaysia; Haifa, Israel; Istanbul, Turkey; Odessa, Ukraine; Novorossiysk, Russia; Istanbul; Haifa; Nhava Sheva (Jawaharlal Nehru), India; Port Kelang; Dan Chan Bay; Busan.
